Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply when you order from GNT Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 39 634 402 412), trading as Num Num’s Bakery (“we”, “us”, “our”) — online at numnumsbakery.com.au, or in person at Harris Park and Riverstone.

By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What you can order online

Our online checkout is for our standard cakes — a size and a flavour from our published list, with optional writing on top. Prices are shown before you pay.

Custom cakes are not sold through the checkout. Tiered cakes, printed images, 3D toppers and anything made to your own design are quoted individually, because the price depends on the build. Start those through our order page and we will come back to you with a price before anything is charged.

2. Lead time and collection

Placing an order does not reserve production capacity until payment succeeds. On rare occasions we may be unable to fulfil an order — if that happens we will contact you and refund you in full.

3. Prices and payment

4. Changes, cancellations and refunds

Our cakes are made to order and start their life as ingredients bought for your specific cake.

Refunds are returned to the card you paid with and may take a few business days to appear.

None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law — see section 8.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account password secure and for orders placed through your account.

6. Allergens and dietary information

Every cake we make is 100% eggless. That is the whole point of the bakery and it is not a claim we take lightly.

However, our kitchen is not an allergen-free environment. We work with wheat flour, dairy, tree nuts and soy in the same premises and on shared equipment, so we cannot guarantee any cake is free from traces of them.

If you or a guest has a severe allergy, please speak to us before you order — call or message the shop rather than relying on this page. We would much rather have the conversation than have you take the risk.

Cakes should be kept refrigerated and are best eaten within two days of collection.

7. How your cake will look

Cakes are made by hand. Photographs on this website show the style of our work, and colour, finish and decoration will vary a little from cake to cake. Writing on a cake is reproduced as you typed it — please check your spelling before you pay.

8. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights. If something is wrong with your cake, tell us as soon as you can — ideally at the counter or the same day — and we will put it right.

Our remake-or-refund guarantee

If your cake is not what you ordered — the wrong flavour or size, writing that is not as you typed it, or a custom cake that does not match the design we confirmed with you — or it is not fresh, tell us at the counter or within 24 hours of collecting it, with a photo. We will remake it or refund what you paid for it, whichever you prefer.

This guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law set out above, not instead of them.

9. Marketing messages

We only send marketing emails or text messages to people who have asked for them. Those boxes are never pre-ticked, and placing an order is not treated as permission to market to you. Every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe and we act on it promptly.

Messages about an order you have actually placed — your receipt, or an email telling you your cake is ready — are not marketing and are sent regardless.

10. Our liability

Subject to section 8, and to the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to re-supplying the cake or refunding what you paid for it.

11. Using this website

The text, photographs, recipes and branding on this website belong to us. You are welcome to share and link to our pages; please do not copy our photographs or content for commercial use without asking.

Please do not attempt to interfere with the website, place fraudulent orders, or use automated tools to place orders.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision. The terms that apply to your order are the ones published when you placed it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
